#118.5 - Goldeen are elegant swimmers, and their beauty underwater, aided by their billowing, dress-like fins, has given them the nickname of ‘the Water Queen’. However their beauty is not a sign of harmlessness; their lovely fins are also extremely strong, and their horn is powerful enough to shatter even the thickest glass. As Goldeen age, their scale coloration becomes more elaborate, and they will begin to seek out a mate, with whom they perform a complex dance. After both partners are mature, they will dig out a nest from solid rock, and defend their eggs with their life.
